The Law Office of Mark Baumann is pleased to host team Dauntless Port Angeles to participate in the 2018 Refuse to Abuse 5k fun run at Safeco Field. The Refuse to Abuse run is to support efforts by the Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence (WSCADV) and their efforts to reduce domestic violence. Refuse to Abuse is held in partnership between WSCADV and the Seattle Mariners.
This year’s race is on Saturday, July 21st, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at Safeco Field in Seattle. This unique 5K fun run/walk takes you around every level of Safeco Field, including running through the players’ tunnel onto and around the field. Stepping out onto the field level of a major league ballpark is an awe-inspiring moment that few have experienced! Funds raised benefit WSCADV and their statewide violence prevention and education work.
Teams will compete for the honor being named a Friend of WSCADV Tournament, by raising the most funds or fielding the largest team. Professionals, clients, family members, and children are all invited to join in this unique event. Parking at Safeco field is free during the event. Cost is $45 per adult runner and $25 per youth runner, and entry fee includes free parking at Safeco Field during the event, finisher’s medal, technical shirt, event goody bag, discounted tickets to the July 21 Mariners game vs. Chicago White Sox.
Our goal is to have Port Angeles host the largest rural team participating in the Refuse to Abuse event. Please join us!
