Training: High sensitivity and autism in families and schools

You are here: Home / News / Training: High sensitivity and autism in families and schools

June 8, 2023

Karen Quail, the developer of the Peace Discipline parenting model, is hosting a 2-session interactive talk on understanding the gifts and challenges of children who are highly sensitive and/or on the autism spectrum scale. The sessions are two Wednesdays, June 14 and 21, 2023. Since Karen is in Cape Town, South Africa, the sessions are from 6:15-7:15 a.m. Seattle time. (They start at 9:15 a.m. New York time, and 2:15 p.m. London time.)

The Peace Discipline parenting model is excellent. Karen developed it after reviewing thousands of research articles on parenting. She was looking to find the best techniques to avoid negative and harmful discipline, and how and when to use the many techniques for positive discipline.

You can find more information at the Peace Discipline website, and the Wikipedia article on Child Discipline.

We highly recommend the Peace Discipline model, and Karen’s classes which are affordable, practical, small group sessions, and rich with information and examples. Karen usually leaves time for questions you have.
