ICCI Professional Training Institute
The Integrative Client Counseling Institute is a project of Mark K. Baumann, Attorney at Law PS to promote the implementation and development of the Integrative Client-Centered Model (ICCM) for legal counseling. The ICCM offers an accessible science-based perspective on what drives conflict, functional and practical tools for client and case management, and is based on the field of Interpersonal Neurobiology and the Dynamic Maturational Model of Attachment and Adaptation (DMM).
The ICCM is an effective tool for client counseling, supporting client decision making, rapport and communication, negotiation, conflict management, as well as practical business-oriented goals such as improving retain rates, client satisfaction, telephone consultations, ethics, attorney confidence, empathy enhancement, and domestic violence case management.
In 2014 and 2015, the Institute will be hosting a variety of programs to train both new and experienced lawyers in the Pacific Northwest. Programs will include co-counseling in individual family law cases, one-on-one mentoring, private in-house CLE, Coffee House Attorney Mentor Program (CHAMP) sessions focused on client counseling offered through the WSBA Low Bono section, low bono mediations in the pacific northwest, and ICCM concept development projects.
